LoadmaX provides a well structured system for Weight Control Engineers to manage individual component item weights and locations.  This Weight Control Report system (WCR) can then deliver the weight and centre of gravity coordinates needed by structural engineers or naval architects for different load case conditions. 

 

Each load case is defined, along with an indication that identifies if the items weights included will be for ‘dry’ or ‘operating’ conditions.  A register of the individual items (recording the dry and operating weights and centre-of-gravity for each item), is inherent in the system.  Items can be assigned to any number of load cases and LoadmaX can report the total weight and overall centre-of-gravity information for any selected load case. 

 

The load case feature gives complete flexibility so, in addition to reporting the weight and CoG for the complete structure, any modular units can easily be considered to analyse situations such as lifting, load-out, barge transportation etc.
