LoadmaX has special features designed to help with the consideration of alterations to a platform / rig so that the impact of weight and centre of gravity changes can be properly assessed.

Any scheme to make alterations is registered in LoadmaX as a Change Proposal and then intended new items are entered into the system with reference to the change proposal.  Existing items that are intended to be removed can also be assigned to a change proposal.

The total weight and centre of gravity can be reported for active change proposals prior to installation / removal.  If results are unsatisfactory the change proposal can be made inactive and alternative proposals can be assessed.   When work is actually undertaken, the status of the change proposal can be set as ‘installed’ so all the associated items will be integrated into the structure’s as-built condition.

The LoadmaX change proposal procedures make the system straightforward to operate and give appropriate controls to manage any number of concurrent change schemes.

When deploying LoadmaX for an existing facility, it may be most expedient to import data if a list of items is available with either position coordinates and/or weights.  An ‘import from file’ feature is included and, if wanted, additional assistance can also be provided during initial system deployment.  Services can include activities such as development of customised system interfaces, assistance with data entry or arrangement of surveys of existing facilities.
